Items for Review

THIS PAGE FEATURES EXISTING WIOA WAIVERS AND DRAFT WAIVER REQUESTS THAT ARE OPEN FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND/OR COMMENT

Waivers
The Secretary of Labor's waiver authority under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a tool to promote workforce system innovation and focus on outcomes. Draft waiver requests are posted with at least a 30-day public review and comment period before being submitted to the US Department of Labor (DOL) for review and potential approval. Waiver requests in the "review" column should be considered draft even if the review date has passed - the review period could be taking longer than expected. Once a waiver is finalized and approved by DOL it will be posted below in the "Approved Current WIOA Waivers" section. For more information on WIAO waivers, please visit: https://www.dol.gov/agencies/eta/wioa/waivers

Submit comments for any items to: WIOA Waiver Comments.
