Workforce System Executive Team (WSET)
Oregon’s Workforce System is guided by the priorities of the Governor and the strategic goals adopted by the Oregon Workforce and Talent Development Board (WTDB). |
In order to achieve those goals, the Workforce Cabinet has chartered the Workforce System Executive Team (WSET), a partnership consisting of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Program Director table, committed to an aligned vision of the workforce system, that seeks to collectively serve business and program participant customers across programs and funding streams. The work of WSET is directed and supported by the Workforce Cabinet and the Governor’s office.
|
The WSET provides operational guidance for WorkSource Oregon (WSO), in support of the initiatives and strategies developed by the Governor's office and the WTDB.
Workforce System Vision: |
An Oregon where every person is supported to maximize their career potential and businesses access the talent they need to be successful, ensuring prosperity for all Oregonians.

WorkSource Oregon Reopening Plans - By Local Workforce Development Area
The health and well-being of our customers and employees is of primary importance to WSET members and their sponsor organizations.
Each of Oregon's nine local workforce development areas is composed of one or more counties, as illustrated on the map above. Due to varying, and changing, public health restrictions, each local area was asked to submit a "reopening plan" for WorkSource Oregon (WSO) Centers in their respective area.
These plans are reviewed by the WSET and other entities to ensure that when WSO Centers reopen, they will comply with CDC, OHA, and other State and community guidelines pertaining to public health standards during the COVID-19 pandemic. Once approved, the plans are posted below.
Please note that a posted and approved plan does not mean that centers in that local area are open. Rather, this plan contains the detailed preparations each local area will be undertaking to be ready to open WSO centers when public health conditions and State and community standards allow. They also contain ongoing operational procedures and practices that offices and individuals will be required to adhere to. Please refer to the Governor's Coronavirus webpages for the latest information on what's open, by county.
[Note: While these plans represent a collaborative effort on behalf of numerous workforce program partners, plans are identified by the name of their respective local workforce development board, as referenced on on the map above.]
